Mecklenburg County is looking for applicants to serve on its — all together now — Crime Task Force. The panel is being co-chaired by former Superior Court Judge Shirley Fulton and Harry Nurkin, retired CEO of Carolinas HealthCare System.
Fulton is a registered Democrat, Nurkin is nominally unaffiliated but donated over $4000 to the campaigns of Jim Black, Mike Easley, Becky Carney, and the state Democratic Party. Wonder if the Lee Institute will supply facilitators? Big surprise there.
