Come clean and you might not spend so much time in jail. Look what has happened to poor state Rep. Thomas Wright the minute anyone started following the money which flowed to him as a member of Black’s power-elite. Wright is somehow $120,000 short in accounting for campaign contributions, The Wilmington Star reports.
Should Wright be found to have converted any or all of that money to personal use — and that question is why the State Board of Elections went after Wright’s bank records in order to get an answer — then we are talking tax evasion. Tax evasion means the Big House, boys and girls. Remember Al Capone?
So do yourself a favor. Find yourself the nearest FBI agent and tell him everything you know.
