Put up or shut up time on public “art.” One of the original and most infamous of the scam art pieces is up for sale. But even the guy who made it does not want it.
“Spindle” — a bunch of cars impaled on a pole and stacked on top of each other — can be yours for a mere $150,000. At least bids on eBay start at $50K plus $100K for shipping.
C’mon — wouldn’t it look great on UNCC’s campus? Maybe smack up against the station for the future $1 billion Northeast lightrail line? Pass the hat, Dave. Put me down for $10.
