Those who question whether Sarah Palin has foreign policy experience should remember that she is governor of a state bordered by two nations that are hostile to the United States: Russia and Canada.

A LIBERAL ENDORSEMENT: Nat Hentoff, writer of many liner notes on jazz and folk albums in the ’60s, and a no-exceptions lefty until he decided a few years ago that abortion was murder, endorsed Sarah Palin as VP back in May:

Amid the speculation regarding John McCain’s choice to complete his presidential ticket, I offer my unsolicited suggestion for his vice president: the first woman — and youngest — governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, who is an unstereotypical and effective Republican.
