The John Locke Foundation’s six-city consumer-driven health-care tour featured a stop today in Cary.

People who packed the Embassy Suites meeting room learned about health savings accounts and other ideas that help patients play a larger role in dictating their own health care.

In the video clip below, panelists Bob Seligson, CEO of the N.C. Medical Society; Joe Coletti, fiscal and health care policy analyst for the John Locke Foundation; Brad Crone, representing the Healthcare Leadership Council; and Beth Donner of Diversified Planning address a question about “individual mandates,” efforts to force Americans to purchase health insurance.
