Here’s what I can’t see Sunday — or I’ll lose my mind.
- WRs running free across the middle. Just try to be in the same area code, DBs.
- Jimmy Clausen throw a 4-yrd. dump on a 3rd and 6. He’ll make mistakes, but if the Golden Boy cannot convert those 3rd and 6, 7s a couple times a game, then this is going to be a looonnnngggg season. (copyright, Alvin Greene.)
- Chris Gamble whiff — repeatedly — on tackles.
- 3-Man rush. I might just take hostages should this madness appear.
- Jonathan Stewart on the bench with the ball inside the five.
- Dwanye Jarrett aimlessly loping around the field.
- Running plays utterly dependent on WRs blocking LBs. Moose is gone. Let it go.
- Dan Connor out of the game on 3rd downs. Guarantee the Bengals will invert their play-calling, not abandon the run to get conversions.
That’s all I can think of for now — but I’m sure something else will jump up and smack me.
