Maybe some local outlet reported this, but I sure did not see it. Panthers WR Steve Smith slid back from earlier comments which suggested he might go after the NYG safety who broke his arm last year.
“What I said in the summer was shallow, ignorant, immature and really no need,” Smith said in a teleconference. “I don’t need to be that way and I’m not going to be that way to my opponents anymore.”
Hmmm. Sounds like someone had some Big Cat time.
