PART opens a new lot in Archdale.

But there was more news which, for whatever reason, was buried (unposted) on B8 in today’s N&R:

The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation plans to buy nearly five acres on West Market Street for a headquarters building and terminal expected to cost more than $17 million.

….The transit provider hopes to open the building in about two years. It will be a combined administration building, meeting space and intermodal terminal for a variety of bus, shuttle and other transportation services.

….The federal government has agreed to pay 80 percent of the cost, with the rest provided by state and local sources.
