If someone wants to oppose the war in Iraq, go right ahead. But why do so-called “peace advocates” resort to vandalism? From the News & Observer:
In addition to the protests, two government cars parked outside the recruiting station were vandalized with spray painted messages, “Go home!” on one and “Not welcome!” on the other.
Do they really think this gives them credibility? What it does is show that the protest was really a childish prank, and an expensive one. Like any immature, misbehaving child, the culprits should be forced to pay for the repairs and apologize to the recruiters.
