Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina (PEFNC) has seen the impact that the coronavirus (COVID-19) has had on life as we know it. We have seen the unfolding changes in the way children are being educated and that families bear the weight of that impact.
We’ve taken up an important project and WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are conducting a 10-minute education experience survey of parents about the transition of their child’s education from classroom-based instruction to remote instruction because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Again, the survey takes 10 minutes.
Why is PEFNC doing this? We take interest in ALL students and we want to know how parents and students using different school options (traditional public, public charter, private, and homeschool) have been impacted by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. To continue our mission of advocating for quality education options, we need your feedback on how remote learning has impacted your child’s education.
Why should I complete this survey? Having a high completion rate is a large part of our effort to better understand the educational impact COVID-19 has had on North Carolina children and families.

How will it be used? The information that we gather from parents will provide an understanding of North Carolina families’ feelings about remote instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic. We may share this information with decision makers, state and national organizations, the media, and other stakeholders. While we ask for your contact information, we will not share your personal information or attribute any survey results or answers to you without your explicit permission.
What do I need to do? Complete the survey! Please visit pefnc.org/survey or text PARENTSURVEY to 52886 to complete the survey online. The deadline to complete the survey is June 19 and you must include your contact information for your chance to win $100.
