Nancy Pelosi announced this afternoon that she plans to run for the position of U.S. House minority leader.
Shortly after the election, U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler (Democrat from N.C.’s 11th Congressional District) said he would consider challenging Pelosi for the job if she decided to run.
My, what an interesting race that would be. Shuler spent much of his political advertising capital reminding voters that he’s “not Nancy Pelosi.”
