Hey man, it looked like 70,000 people to me, too.
N&R education reporter Brian Ewing takes a little good-natured psychadelic heat for reporting that 70,000 people attended last night’s “near-sellout” Dead show at the 23,000-seat Greensboro Coliseum. At any rate, it was a great show. Personally, I lock in on drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann —- amazing the way those guys move their hands.
Meanwhile, I’m amazed at the way fellow N&R reporter Robert Bell was able to report on Angel Cabrera’s playoff Masters victory and possible recruiting violations at Northern High School. Either Bell was able to clone himself or he was a very busy man this weekend.
