Thomas Sowell has an excellent column today, available here about people who wail about the plight of the poor, but refuse to acknowledge that work and production are essential ingredients in the alleviation of poverty.
We could insert “John Edwards” wherever Sowell writes about such people generally, particularly where he concludes that their real interest is in obtaining power.
