Magic 8-Ball says maybe. Denver has been clearing cap space like mad and has the 12th pick in the NFL draft, two necessary conditions for a deal.

In addition, the Panthers are supposedly close to inking a deal with FA-to-be OT Jordan Gross, which would free up the franchise tag for use on Peppers. If so, Gross could be signed and Peppers traded away by the end of the week.

Denver’s 1st and a 3rd would be fair market value for Peppers, I think. The question then becomes, do the Panthers stand-pat on the free-agent front, or make additional moves?
