Grim outlook for North Carolina’s economy in 2012. Economists at yesterday’s forum in Durham predicted “high unemployment will persist for a long time” and “the state will not see the same level of growth as the nation.”
Gov. Bev Perdue said “For the first time since I’ve been governor, I feel very hopeful.”
