Biography

Sen. Thom Tillis represents North Carolina in the U.S. Senate. He was re-elected in 2020 to a second term. Prior to his service in the Senate, Tillis served in the North Carolina General Assembly, where was Speaker of the House. He serves on four committees: Armed Services, Veterans Affairs, Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, and Committee on the Judiciary.
