Not exactly a surprise, but still an All-Pro team without a hint of Panther blue not to mention a bunch of additional season award spots means that King went 0-for-Carolina about 40 times. How you do that to a 12-4 division winner with a RB that led the league in TDs and rushing average seems, well, a King-sized reach.
Perhaps some satisfaction can be found in SI’s All-Disappointment team, which includes Panther cast-off OG Mike Wahle. Carolina’s OL overhaul has been a major factor in the team’s success this season.
Update: I should also mention that I got a chuckle out of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority’s official Twitter feed that yesterday up and omitted the Eagles and Giants from the NFC playoffs. As if tweeting a home NFL playoff game is not funny enough.
