But a federal judge has upheld an Indiana law
that is one of the most stringent to require a valid federal or state
photo ID to be able to vote. Judge Sarah Evans Barker was scathing in
her ruling:
“Despite apocalyptic assertions of wholesale voter disenfranchisement,
plaintiffs have produced not a single piece of evidence of any
identifiable registered voter who would be prevented from voting”
because of the statute.
We in North Carolina can continue to state names and read back the address shown in the book without any ID needed.
