The Rhino’s John Hammer isn’t impressed with the new Northern Middle School:

It’s an interesting idea to build a school so that the toilets flush with rainwater rather than well water, but is it necessary or is it more likely a fad that will cost the schools a fortune to repair over the years. Does it makes sense to have a school where the toilets flush with rainwater or to build more classrooms so that more children can attend school in a permanent building instead of a trailer?

I happen to know a little bit about green schools.
