I knew it wouldn’t take long for John work in a Barsoom reference to Mars. If the rover Spirit does come up against any of John Carter’s weird foes I doubt the little rock-tapper arm will help much.
And no, John, even with the water find, I’m still not going to break my John Carter comic out of its frame for you to read.
I will say this: A water find greatly increases the chances for a manned mission to Mars. The discovery of even long gone life on another planet would be an epic event for mankind.
