Asheville City Council will hold three (1, 2, 3) public hearings Tuesday on another attempt by the city to stop Frank Howington from building in the Kenilworth neighborhood by changing the rules as he goes along. This time, they shall attempt to impose city-initiated zoning. Many lawsuits are already filed, but counsel representing the developer pointed out the point is soon reached when it is no longer economically feasible for private parties to continue suing. I can’t complain because the developments are two blocks away and therefore not in my backyard.
