As we approach the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, a new book offers a fresh take on ideas and beliefs that motivated the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence. Titled America’s Revolutionary Mind, the book cites 17th-century British philosopher John Locke as a key influence. Author C. Bradley Thompson, professor of political philosophy at Clemson University, discusses key themes from the book with Mitch Kokai.
