The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic continues to dominate our lives across North Carolina and the United States. As most of us shelter in place, John Locke Foundation CEO Amy Cooke says we want to know about the “endgame,” the circumstances that will help us start to get our lives back to a new post-COVID-19 normal. She discusses her thoughts about that topic. Meanwhile, Congress already has approved three relief packages linked to the pandemic, including the $2 trillion CARES Act. Joseph Coletti, JLF senior fellow, analyzes the federal legislation. He shares his concerns about the long-term impact on federal debt.
