Last month, TelOpinion Research conducted a poll on behalf of Renew NC, a 501(c)(4) group that supports Governor McCrory’s policy agenda.  The Republican pollster asked 1,000 North Carolina voters to share their opinions on a variety of issues.

The questions addressing support for a proposed statewide infrastructure bond were very informative, but one question was ridiculous.

Screen Shot 2015-06-01 at 2.14.27 PMThat’s right.  Around 97 percent of respondents said that it was somewhat, very, or extremely important that “North Carolina provides a high quality of education at every level from K-12, community colleges, and four-year universities.”

Thanks to this poll, we now know that the vast majority of North Carolinians think education is important.
