Ah, the power of being an elected official. In Carrboro, apparently if just one alderman complains about something, an ordinance may spring to life. From the News & Observer’s Orange Chat blog comes a report that the Carrboro Board of Aldermen has directed staff to investigate a dog poop ordinance following a complaint by Alderman John Herrera that he was mowing his lawn, stepped in poop, and didn’t like it.
