Three different reports from the Pope Center for Higher Education Policy attracted media attention this week. The Charlotte Business Journal noted a Pope Center report about North Carolina’s relatively low number of lawyers. The Chronicle of Higher Education’s blog highlighted the Pope Center’s efforts to have college course syllabi made available online. The Greensboro News & Record cited a third report that exposed the weaknesses in the teacher education programs throughout the University of North Carolina system.
