A bill introduced May 26 by Rep. Earl Jones, D-Guilford, would authorize the Legislative Research Commission “to study issues related to the public benefits of allowing marijuana or its chemical equivalent to be used for medicinal purposes.” The legislation has been referred to the House Health Committee.

Seems to me that legislators have more important issues to focus on than proliferating pot.
