I’m sure you will enjoy reading this article by Gary North, in which he introduces a new word into the language: “povert.” A povert is an envious person who hates it when others succeed. North gives a nice discussion of the harmful effects that these people have.
Envy is among the worst human failings, but our political system lauds and encourages it.
