The most memorable part of the last meeting of the Buncombe County Commissioners was County Manager Dr. Wanda Greene’s complaints about NC FAST. Somehow, I thought the problems were resolved, but Dr. Greene expects them to continue for several years. The problem, in brief, is that there is too much data with too many parts that move on a whimsy for people to be able to get something as fundamental as food. With this debacle and that of Obamacare, one might expect somebody with leverage to wonder if maybe – well, if some things can be too big to fail, maybe some are too big to work.
