The latest Rasmussen polling data shows President Obama is having trouble.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama’s job performance. This is the lowest approval rating for the president since his reelection.

Fifty percent (50%) now disapprove.

Considering the continued sky-high unemployment rate in states like North Carolina, 9.4%, and lack of optimism among many job creators, the president’s low approval numbers shouldn’t be a surprise. There isn’t much doubt about what is ailing this economy — poor economic policy and lack of fiscal restraint. It’s well past time to change course.
