Who: An expert panel will help the John Locke Foundation address trends and historical patterns that could shape this year’s elections.

Dr. Whit Ayers is President of Ayers, McHenry, & Associates, Inc., a national public opinion and public affairs research firm that provides research and strategic advice for corporations, associations, and Republican candidates for public office. His comments and analysis appear regularly in national publications and broadcasts.

John J. Miller is National Review magazine’s National Political Reporter, based in Washington, D.C. He also writes for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, The New Republic, Boston Globe, and New York Post. He is an author whose topics include the John M. Olin Foundation, multiculturalism, and France.

John Hood is President and Chairman of the John Locke Foundation. He is also an author whose syndicated columns on state politics and public policy appear regularly throughout North Carolina. He has also written articles for national publications, and he’s appeared on CNN, NBC Nightly News, and the Fox News Channel.

Marc Rotterman is a partner in Rotterman and Associates, a Raleigh-based political and public affairs firm. He served on the national staff of the 1980 Reagan campaign and has worked on congressional and Senate campaigns throughout the South. He is a Senior Fellow at the John Locke Foundation and treasurer of the American Conservative Union.
