RALEIGH – The John Locke Foundation is proud to announce that our E.A. Morris Fellowship for Emerging Leaders has been awarded the 2024 Program of the Year by Talent Market. This award honors programs that help foster and develop free-market champions.

The E.A. Morris Fellowship for Emerging Leaders is a leadership development program that trains young professionals in North Carolina to become effective and principled leaders. Focused on early-to-mid-career professionals aged 25-40, the program provides rigorous training in communication, leadership skills, and the principles of free enterprise and limited government. Since its inception in 2006, the Fellowship has trained and advanced new leaders for North Carolina’s future, staying true to businessman and philanthropist Ed Morris’s vision, whom the program is named after.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from Talent Market,” said Donald Bryson, CEO of the John Locke Foundation. “The E.A. Morris Fellowship embodies our commitment to fostering principled leadership and advancing the cause of liberty.”

Talent Market’s award celebrates programs with a solid curriculum, meaningful outcomes, and alumni who significantly contribute to the liberty movement. Alumni of the E.A. Morris program have gone on to serve as judges, elected officials, and business leaders. The E.A. Morris Fellowship excels in each of these areas, and the John Locke Foundation is grateful to accept this prestigious recognition.
