The Winston-Salem Community Appearance Commission has approved the final design of Billy Prim’s taxpayer-funded downtown baseball stadium.

Still at issue, though, is the 38-foot tall water bottle advertisement for Primo Water, Prim’s bottled water company. Also at issue is the rooftop “‘Sponsor’ Field” sign that isn’t allowed under city ordinance. It will indeed be interesting to see who signs on as the sponsor. The way I see it, the best-case scenario, given how much taxpayers are forking over to help with this development, would be if Prim sucks it up and just puts his oown company’s name above the stadium.
