As we get more information (and, quite possibly, disinformation) about Eric Snowden and PRISM, the debate will create some strange bedfellows: Some who reflexively defend Obama will make common cause with GWOT hawks (such as Andrew McCarthy and Bill Kristol), including some hawkish Tea Partiers; civil libertarians will join genuine small government conservatives, including other Tea Partiers who want to “bring the boys home.”
The alliances could be fascinating, and you may not be able to know the players without a program.
