WCNC reports that, “The Unknown Brewery may have just accidentally broken an unofficial world record for locating a stolen vehicle.” How did the Charlotte brewery accomplish that feat? It sent out a tweet offering a free keg party as a reward:
And it posted a similar message on its Facebook page. According to WCNC, “In just 42 minutes, a woman named Caroline spotted the stolen van parked along her street. … Looks like they’re … honoring their reward offer because they said Caroline gets a keg party [on them.]”
