“The United States said yesterday that it would expand limits on Chinese-clothing imports after failing to reach a comprehensive agreement with China’s government on textile trade,” reports Bloomberg. “The U.S. Commerce Department said in a statement that it has determined that the U.S. market for bras and synthetic fabric is being disrupted by surging Chinese imports. That determination allows the United States to set a 7.5 percent cap on import growth of those products.”
