I mentioned earlier that Americans for Prosperity North Carolina was holding a protest at the Center for Responsible Lending headquarters in Durham today. Here are a few pictures of the event:
The sun broke through just as the protest was beginning.
AFP’s Chris Farr (center) is interviewed by a print reporter as AFP’s Jeff Mixon (left) stirs up the crowd.
AFP’s Chad Adams (left), who was the main spokesman at the event, is interviewed by a print reporter as CJTV’s Anthony Greco (right) records his words for posterity.
A lot of media showed up, including NBC17, WTVD, several print reporters whom I didn’t recognize, an independent videographer working for persons unknown, and, of course, Anthony Greco of CarolinaJournal.tv.
The independent videographer, who looked like person of definite lefty leanings, asked several of the protesters what they knew of the Center for Responsible Lending. I’m sure she was fishing for some quote that would be embarrassing to the AFP and conservatives in general. From what I heard of the responses she was getting, I don’t think she was successful.
