Having said that, this Orlando TV report is pretty thin stuff, little more than wishful thinking from UCF’s home town media. It does not even mention the heavy-circ rumor that Memphis sugar-daddy Federal Express was willing to pay $10m. to any BCS conference which invited the Tigers to join.
Update: In this on-going live chat, AD Rose just moved up the timeline for hiring a football coach to “early to mid 2011.” At one point Yadda-Yadda DuBois was talking a year later.

Judy Rose: The first coach we hire may be totally different from future hires. We would like experience, coupled with strong people skills. This person will be on the forefront representing our University, not only football. There is a tremendous amount of interest both locally and nationally for this position. Thanks MeckDeck.
