Colorful quote from Piedmont Triad International Airport Authority chairman Henry Isaacson regarding Skybus’ announcment that it will cut flights out of PTIA due to rising fuel costs:

“This is nothing dramatic, I think, nothing we have to worry about…Someone asked me what was wrong with them. I said, ‘Baby’s got a cold, not pneumonia.’ It’s because of the climate. I expect them to level the storm and get well.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but rising fuel prices were an issue when PTIA offered up Skybus’ incentives package, right?
