The Haywood County School Board is considering closing down Central Elementary School. It is one of the county’s nine elementary schools. Reportedly, the school must be closed because charter schools are siphoning money away from traditional public schools, and that against the will of the community. Since that is the published analysis, one might justify some over-elaboration. That is, we must conclude charter schools are getting more money per pupil than the established public schools, and that members of the community are putting children in charter schools against their will.

But then, with the new logic, internal inconsistency is no longer reason to let go of an argument
