Stimulus rushed to the rescue of one Sally Dudley. Part of her dilapidated bungalow is shown in a photo. Ignore the nice trim and stop wondering what the whole house looks like, and pay attention to the very important man in the suit rubbing elbows with the workers whose jobs were created by your president. (And stop pretending you don’t understand how reducing carbon footprints for special people promotes the general welfare and protects interestate commerce.)

Dudley is receiving help with insulation, air sealing, wrapping her water heater, installation of carbon monoxide detectors and replacing light fixtures with Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs).

“They do good, work, they’re such willing people,” Dudley said of the housing department staff. “They’re such an asset.”
