Foxy and crew will try to convert newly claimed TE Andrew Davie into an OT. The Panthers signed Davis off waivers from the New York Jets last week. Davie is 6-6, 275 and was signed as a free agent rookie out of Arkansas. The Panthers are certainly already full-up on TEs with King, Rosario, and Barnidge, plus Rutgers rookie Kevin Brock.
Working against such a change is the fact that Davie is 26 yrs. old after having spent four years playing minor league baseball.
