As I posted earlier, I was away for the weekend, so I’m getting second-hand accounts from neighbors. We’re talking crackling sounds, a loud boom and fire trucks at 5 a.m.

Bottom line is the whole block is without internet, so I’m seeking refuge here. Pain in the arse, but when I feel sorry for myself —-which I do quite a bit —— I think about the latest victims of what’s been one mother of a spring storm season.
