Even more effective than John Henry, there’s Jeff A. Taylor.  And even Jeff could be outdone by the transit authority itself, if more people could see the abysmal relationship between cost and ridership projections and reality. Jeff recently addressed the increasing cost of the light-rail line on WBTV, now over $427 million.  While John Hood commented in the Herald-Sun on the recent departure of the Triangle Transit Authority’s general manager, John Claflin. Claflin failed to fulfill a dream of bringing light-rail to the Triangle when the federal government pulled the financial plug on the operation.
