News to me, but I’m not as wired into the urban community as hip-hop artist Cam’ron.

He tells 60 Minutes that he wouldn’t turn in a serial killer because it would mean cooperating with the police. And Cameron Giles as explains Anderson Cooper both his “code of ethics” and his marketing needs make cooperating with the police — at any level — impossible.

Giles tells Anderson that he just lives in a different world.

“But then again, you’re not going to be on the stage tonight in the middle of, say, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, with people with gold and platinum teeth and dreadlocks jumping up and down singing your songs, either,” says Giles. “We’re in two different lines of business.”

So, according to Giles, the large chunks of “Raleigh-Durham” are similarly anti-police to the point of letting killers walk free. Wonder if we’ll hear anything to the contrary on that.

BTW, isn’t it funny when people say “Raleigh-Durham” like it is Winston-Salem? Basically one place and all?
