By my count, there were at least seven different e-scooter companies willing to do business in Raleigh. The City Council, like a 21st century Thomas Hobson, only wanted one. So naturally, they picked the one company whose business model is we only want to do business where there’s no competition.
Gotcha was made Raleigh’s hand-picked scooter monopolist. As spotted by J. King White on Twitter, however, Gotcha’s “Raleigh, NC Scooter Share” page has a slight problem.
