The N&R reports the proposed Randolph County megasite has gone dark, but the Biz Journal reports Greensboro Mayor Robbie Perkins and City Manager Denise Turner Roth met with Randolph officials on Monday, “with the city reiterating its support to provide water and sewer to the site if development moves forward.”

Estimated cost of running water and sewer to the megasite is $21.3 million. Right now it looks like a longshot, with state funding still an issue, not to mention legal challenges from local property owners.
