Dr. Guarino passes along more WFMY coverage of Greensboro’s proposed pay hikes; the station also has a “raw” interview with City Manager Rashad Young.
Seems to me Young wants it both ways —– right now the pay raises are nominal amounts that will be easily absorbed into departmental budgets; yet if the city doesn’t institute them now, they will cost “millions” in the future, a notion that Triadwatch calls “laughable.”
