Another interesting bit from the new Pew poll was that 37 percent of voters said they were voting “for Bush” as opposed to against Kerry, while only 19 percent said they voted “for Kerry” as opposed to against Bush.

That’s pretty amazing if 48 percent of the electorate voted for Kerry, but only 19 percent were actually “for Kerry.”

It would lend support for a piece in The New Republic today which says the Democrats problem was Kerry himself.
