John, my money’s on Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, a man who captured my attention with his speech last year at the GOP convention. Steele beautifully described the progress — and what should be the new goals — of the civil rights movement. He put it this way in his inspiring speech:
“What truly defines the civil rights challenge today isn’t whether you can get a seat at the lunch counter. It’s whether you can own that lunch counter in order to create legacy wealth for your children.”
Absolutely.
